Short Racing Biography

First speedway race ¼ mile track in Canberra (Australia's Capital City) in 1980 won first 4 heats off the back (full field) ran second in the feature, again off the back.  .  

Won over 90% of all Speedway & Short Track races entered over a 12 year period. 1980-1992


Involved in NASCAR as a crew member, driver and team owner since it's inception in Australia in 1988 until 2002 when it unfortunately ended,
 Finishing 8th in first NASCAR race won by Rodney Combs Calder Park THUNDERDOME Oct 1990.
 
Won legends of speed race on the banks of Lake Burly Griffin. (NASCAR) (Canberra) 1991
 
NASCAR driving instructor--NASTRACK Australia 1994.

 

NASCAR driving instructor--RIDE OF A LIFETIME 1995-96
 
"The Fireworks King" NASCAR fastest racing car ever in any division down Conrod straight at Bathurst 200.37 mph, 319kph, 1998.

Presented with Best Presented Car & Crew in 1999-2000 Season.

Second Fastest at Calder Park Thunderdome 1999-2000 Season opener behind then current and three time Australian NASCAR Champion Kim Jane.

Won the first ever NASCAR race at Queensland International Raceway after qualifying on poll, 2001.
 
Second in the 2001 Australian Stock Car Championship, (NASCAR) would have won only for losing an engine at the second last round. 4 Poles, 3 Wins, 5 Seconds, 4 Thirds + Best presented Car & Crew.
 
Won last NASCAR race entered, 2002 Australian Stock Car Championship, (NASCAR) “First race of the season” Calder Park International Raceway.  

Tony has had Pole positions and Race Wins on almost every major Race Track in Australia!
